| SOCIETY MISSION The Virginia Society of Healthcare Engineers is the local chapter affiliated with the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE). The primary mission is to improve and enhance our local healthcare facilities infrastructure, operations and maintenance through planning, education, cooperation, advocacy and design innovation. The society meets the second Monday of every month and provides a forum for our healthcare and professional affiliate members to discuss important topics that affect our local healthcare facilities such as:

A Note From Our President
As we constantly maintain safe, seamless and flawless clinical operations in an extremely complicated environment, excellence in continuous education is imperative for us. This is the focus of the 2012 VSHE Conference.
It is a wealth of knowledge in all critical fields. It includes ASHE courses in Construction and Facilities Management certification. It presents findings from the 2010 disaster in Joplin, MO, the latest in Emergency Management and a comprehensive review of present and future codes. Instructors and presenters are among the best in the field.
We complement our training by a comprehensive trade show where industry leaders presenting the latest in products, technology and concepts.
